Jack of Heart

Le groupe fait preuve d’une maturité dans la composition assez inédite dans le panorama Rock and roll français. Certes, JACK OF HEART revendique le psychédélisme du Pink Floyd de Syd Barret, l’héritage du Velvet, ou le songwritting de Lee Hazlewood mais ils les transcendent pour imposer un Rock’n roll singulier laminant les codes d’un folklore garage souvent trop régressif et passéiste.

JR au Kenya

Dans le cadre de son projet 28MM x WOMEN, JR a passer le mois de janvier dernier entier dans l’une des régions africaines les plus pauvres et les plus déchirées par la guerre civile. Après avoir fait un fabuleux travail dans les favelas brésiliens, JR a emmener son objectif de 28MM dans les bidonvilles kenyans, en utilisant les paysages naturels comme des toiles vierges. Le résultat est tout simplement extraordinaire.
